From gin tumbler to trolley case, from food bowl to Christmas ball: the Canadian illustrator, born in 1958, loves to adorn the world and its objects with his colourful and expressive animal characters. He is famous for his minimalist style of translating an idea or an emotion into convincing designs and illustrations.
His career began with the Canadian daily newspaper “La Presse”. Nowadays he works with publishing houses, designers and companies all over the world. He has designed a limited-edition Coca-Cola glass and has also been engaged as a children's book illustrator since 2013. His work has received numerous awards, including the National Newspaper Award, the World Illustration Award and the Applied Arts Award. // His work has won numerous awards from organizations such as the New York Society of Illustrators, the Bologna Children’s Book Fair, the Society of News Design and the World Illustration Awards, to name a few.
