Daniela Garreton takes hearts by storm – with illustrations that playfully depict themes of spray and tides, seagulls and the sea. Born in the coastal city of Santiago de Chile, the passionate surfer later moved to San Sebastian, where she is also involved in sustainable projects related to the wild sea. All of this is reflected in her works, in which she sets accents with quick strokes and often gives natural motifs human features. It is a reinterpretation of traditional subjects that can also be felt as a breath of fresh air on the Ritzenhoff decors.
