August Loibner begins with a quick hand drawing. A note of his thoughts, which he later digitally models into the final design. He has worked as a freelance designer for a wide variety of clients for over 30 years - from small independent publishers to international companies - and his passion has always been the formal language of mid-century design. He also creates the typical "organic connection between image and material" on his designs for Ritzenhoff, allowing the colorful color palette of the 1950s to shine through.
